30,000 related UGC and over 7 million SNS engagements recorded, rapid expansion with non-marketing and non-promotion
AnotherBall Pte. Ltd. (CEO: Shunsuke Oyu) is pleased to announce that the trial version of its VTuber avatar creation and distribution application "Avvy" was released on April 3, 2025, and has surpassed 200,000 registrations in 10 days through April 13, 2025.
This trial version was planned to be offered for a limited time and with a limited number of registrations, but the number of registrations greatly exceeded expectations, so new registrations were suspended ahead of schedule.
The release of this product did not involve any marketing measures such as advertisements or tie-ups, but rather the experience of the product itself was the starting point for the spontaneous spread of the product on social networking sites.
In particular, posts and reactions on X and TikTok are as follows (as of April 10, 2025):
- X (formerly Twitter): 29,650 posts / 520,408 engagements (total of likes, reposts, and replies)
- TikTok: 681 posts / 6,897,136 engagements (total of views, likes, comments, and shares)

All of these are voluntary contributions by users, and a variety of content is shared, including avatar introductions, delivery reports, and videos using the hashtag "#Avvy".
The majority of registered users are from Japan, and acceptance is spreading mainly in the Japanese market, which has a high affinity for VTuber culture and avatar expression. Overseas registrations also account for about 45% of the total, and there are signs that usage is expanding mainly in English-speaking countries (US) and Asian countries (South Korea and Taiwan).
Future Outlook
Avvy is currently scheduled to launch its official version in June 2025, with the following updates under development:
- Advanced editing enhancements - Addition of color gradients and fine part position adjustment functions - Animation sensitivity adjustment and rigging parts adjustment functions
- In-app distribution and community functions - Enhanced communication functions with viewers for live distribution within the app - Expanded community leads to support fan interaction and planning
